New Jersey Amends Law to Allow PTSD, Colorado May Do The Same

Two states are poised to amend their existing medical cannabis laws and admit PTSD patients. In New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie has signed a bill that allows PTSD patients to access medical cannabis.

In Colorado panel of state lawmakers voted 5-0 to recommend adding post-traumatic stress disorder to the list of qualifying conditions under Colorado’s medical marijuana law. The vote isn’t legally binding, but is rather a recommendation to the full Legislature, which begins its new session in January.
