VERMILION, Ohio — A Vermilion police officer was suspended Monday after he wore a pin on his uniform that expressed support for the legalization of marijuana.  Reinheimer said a member of the group gave him the pin and he decided to wear it. He said he supports legal marijuana because his wife, LuAnne, has epilepsy and her medication doesn’t always alleviate her symptoms. He said he’s read that marijuana can be effective in preventing seizures.
