Israeli researchers have found that medical cannabis can help treat diseases such as multiple sclerosis.

A team of scientists from Tel Aviv University recently conducted a study on the anti-inflammatory properties of marijuana’s main compounds, CBD and THC, and how it can be used to treat the inflammation associated MS.

They found that the presence of CBD and THC prevents immune cells from triggering the production of inflammatory molecules, effectively limiting their ability to reach and damage the brain and spinal cord.
